The absolute worst band conditions I have ever
experienced in my very few years of serious
contesting. 20-10 were non-existent here in
central Georgia. That left only 40 meters.
The first day was very noisy but showed some promise.
the second day was a total washout. At 1300 or so local
time I tuned from 7.300 down to 7.000 and heard only ONE
faint SSB signal on 7.258 (MIDCARS)....NOTHING ELSE on
the whole band. I Gave up and watched the NASCAR race at
Talladega on television.
