Crikey, it doesn't get much worse than it did tonight.
20M was open but far weaker than last week's stellar signals.
40M was wide open, but purely one-way from east to west. Called many, heard by
hardly any. The one-way lead curtain hangs over the Rockies -- CA was an easier
shot with good signals both ways.
80M was rotten to the core. Not one Q, though I left 80M to go back to 40M and
didn't get back till the final minute and never did catch anyone. Could only
hear a few guys on the 3610 NCCC net afterward.
Kinda glad for three off weeks now. Maybe 20M will be stronger by the time we
resume -- 80M is gone for the summer at this hour, and we're on an hour too
early now for 40M to be useful from this far north. Any chance of pushing NS an
hour later in the final weeks so there's something to do in the last 15 minutes
of the half hour?
