Comments:
Fixed a good number of things like broken antennas during the week before the
contest. Blew a loading capacitor in SB-220 amp two hours before contest trying
to load into high-SWR 80-meter antenna. Fixed it with a replacement from junk
box. Had computer display issues, so missed the first minute or so changing
computer monitors. At least the station is once again operational.
20 meters was frustrating. When there are 2 QSOs in the log in a 5 minute
segment, 15 minutes into the contest, a winning result does not seem to be part
of the future. In the end, had 9 VE3s on 20, and only 3 Texans!
