Comments:
Two-man Multi-Single at W4QG's new place. Paul built the FSK interface per AA5AU
on Friday afternoon and it worked like a champ all weekend, except when I tried
to call HI3T on Sunday on 40m. He said I was inverted, I reversed the shift, he
said I was still inverted. I wonder what he was hearing? The guys on either side
of him on 40m seemed to print me just fine.
The 80m antenna here is in a state of flux, and we were stuck with only a
Butternut vertical for 80m, which worked very poorly, hence the 0 QSOs on that
band. I tried 10m a couple of times but only heard LU1HF all weekend.
Paul and I are very pleased with the performance of the station in what became
a warmup for the contest season when we lost our 80m antenna.
