Comments:
About the same result as last year, when I was unassisted. This year I probably
relied too much on packet, instead of more S&P on the second radio.
Had to take an unplanned break in the 01Z hour, when the cold front went thru
and rain static clobbered all bands. Had some new and unexpected problems with
TRLog this time, maybe because of the packet TNC hookup.
Did my usual "stay up all night' routine, operating in spurts, especially
through the eastern sunrise period. Got one hour of sleep, and paid for it on
Sunday afternoon. Lost concentration, forgot why I was doing this! Using the
two new K3s kept me interested.
This was CW SS #55 for me 1953-2008(missed the '62 event while in USAF pilot
training). It's getting harder to sit in the chair! Here's the numbers:
