12 ft Tee Top Vertical (Tiny Tee)
Was off and on between football games, etc. About 3 hours Friday, and 2 on
Saturday night. 100% S&P. The band was very quiet here, with decent signals
from all over the USA, but propagation for DX seemed poor compared to last
year. What happened to W6's? Heard but a few. Only heard and worked one EU
station, F6CWN.
I usually enter this to see if I can work WAS in a few hours. Did it last year
in 4 hours, but couldn't pull it off in my time on this year. Never heard AK or
WY. ID and ND were heard working S&P only, so never had a chance to call.
Had fun, anyway. It's always a kick to see who can hear my tiny signal,
radiated by my tiny antenna.
Jim, w5jaw
