Comments:
Really need a receive antenna! I worked S&P about 95% as it was just about
impossible to find a hole in the band (except Saturday afternoon, when I set up
the auto cq'er while I worked in the shack. It did get me some sections I hadn't
worked on Friday evening (NLI and NNY). I thought they were non-existant! but
then worked about three or four more each in a row. The only antenna I have
for 160 is a dipole about 30 feet high with some bends to fit in the back yard
! Did manage to work through a few pileups running high power for HK0, J3 and
HI3 contacts.EU stations here very weak in the noise. Time for a RX antenna
project!
