Comments:
I was tired all weekend so it wasn't a fulltime effort this year. Still managed
to achieve a personal best in the LP category so I was very happy with that and
had lots of fun in the process. The new antenna seems to be working pretty well.
Fell asleep at the radio both nights [ mornings I guess ] after the rate started
to fall and my body went QRT before I wanted too. Just wish I could have hung on
longer to catch a SR opening or two. Both nights were very quiet here with only
S2 QRN so when you found a QRM free spot to call you could hear just about
anyone who responded - even on the vertical. Saturday afternoon I turned on the
gear just after 1800z [ 1300 local ] and called CQ just for the heck of it while
I had my morning coffee. Worked 40 stations in just a couple of hours in 20 Sec
in 15 States - some out to 1000 km. So condx were not that bad at all. TNX for
all the QSO's.
