                    ARRL 160-Meter Contest

Call: NZ1U

Station: KB1H

Class: M/S HP
QTH: CT
Operating Time (hrs): 21

Summary:
Total: QSOs = 689 Sections = 70 Countries = 29 Total Score = 150,975

Comments:

Bill, W1WBB, asked if he could use the KB1H station
to do a half hearted operation in the contest. He
loves 160 and there were no plans for any other
use of the station. Being as new member of the
Barnstormer Team he also wanted to have a chance to
become more aquainted with the equipment under more
relaxed conditions than CQWW DX. KB1H provided two
brief relief periods so Bill could eat. Bill spent
practically all the time S&Ping while KB1H ran for
about 1.5 hours durign the relief times.Total Ontime
was about 21 hours and W1WBB left for home about
0330Z the second night. As others have mentioned,
it is tough to work the Europeans through the US
QRM and US stations calling. Next up, ARRL 10.
Can there really be a 10 meter contest coming up!
Thanks to all the patient callers and QSOs.
