Comments:
Had lots of fun as usual. Propagation to the west, west of CO, was almost
nonexsistant. Had to work real hard at WWA, OR, and a few of the CA sections
heard. Lots, and lots of east coast and southeast heard and worked. Didn't
expect too much DX with low power and low hanging short dipole. Did work XE,
P4, and ZF. Heard PAC a couple of times, but pile was too deep to even try. I
did, but didn't spend too much time. Big improvement in my score this year to
past years. Finally gave running a try, and made a big difference. Not so easy
to do with small low antenna, low power and operator keyboard challanged!!
Lots of fun, cu in Stew Perry and CQWW 160 CW.
OPERATING CONDITIONS: TS-2000 100 watts to Alpha Delta DX-LB at 35 feet.
