Comments:
This is one of my favorite contests but even with that I only had a short time
available for the contest. I had several blocks of time available on Saturday
and I was all done by 0900Z Sunday morning. Still, it was one of the first
contests in awhile that I could really commit to at all. My station, antennas,
computer and N1MM all behaved flawlessly which made for much fun. I was having
so much fun running I only did S&P for 4 calls out of the 508. RI, ME and DE
never wondered by and the only Canada that showed were BC, ON, AB and QC. Don't
know where the rest were hiding...maybe buried in snow, who knows. On 15M and
20M it was the A4S 10' off the roof. For 40M and 80M it was my trusty
irrigation pipe vertical up the pine tree.
My best runs per band:
15M, 128 Qs @ 85 per hour
20M, 73 Qs @ 66 per hour
40M, 81 Qs @ 65 per hour
80M, 54 Qs @ 68 per hour
I wonder what I could have done with an additional 16 hours... Maybe next
time.
