Comments:
Once again, the crack operating team of N9ADG, and Jordan the dog, plus a little
help from K7BTW had people flocking from miles around to the scene of the 2009
rtty roundup contest operation held high atop Mitchell Hill above Preston, Wa.
Using the call K7BTW from the palatial estate of N9ADG, folks witnessed another
record breaking effort (record breaking for hams in Preston at least). This
year's operation featured only one amplifier arc, 12 computer freeze-ups, and
one 80 meter antenna failure - a record for equipment dependability. Operating
in the well appointed luxurious N9ADG ham shack, most of the crew dined on pork
stew from a secret recipe prepared by chief chef MIT graduate, Brian Moran.
Jordan, however, preferred his usual diet of Friskies. The final score
shattered last year's section winning M/S tally by 31,000 points.
