I did not really plan on contesting this weekend, but when I hear the
diddle-di-dah's from RTTY it is hard to resist.I fired up N1MM and thought
I'd just give out some points for a while. A while turned in to several
hours of FUN.
The bands were not in great shape, so most of the activity stayed on 20m
however I made a few on 15m, and later 40m & 80m, those bands were even in
worse shape then 20m. During the contest I set a goal for 100.000 and reached
that.
So I pulled the plug, so my sweet, dear, poor husband would have a few hours to
'play' radio for himself also. That's the disadvantage of having two hams in one
household, and both love radio and contesting, but different modes.... I ( give)
him the radio for the CW contests. (hihi)
Never the less he fully supports me when I want to participate in a contest,
and I so much appreciate that, because after all, when I am at the mike or at
the keys...he wonders around the house like a lost puppy...
Thanks to all for the points, especially those I run in to every contest
again...
