Comments:
I spent eight of the ten hours allowed in the contest. I ran most of then time
and never even listened on 10 and I heard nothing on 15 on the many times I
went there when stations tried to move me there. Eventually I stopped
checking. The first hour was my best ever in a RTTY contest of any kind.. I
started calling CQ just before the contest started on 14077 and kept at it for
more than an our. In the first hour I had 68 QSOs. on that frequency. Later
on I had another good hour (58) around 7 PM local mostly on 80 meters.after
20 petered out. One of the fun experiences was being called by 3 AK stations
while running on 20. Eighty was good for mults and rate in his contest. I had
one less mult on 80 than 20! We had some company so I took an hour off around 6
PM to chat. By 11 PM local activity really too a dive as I believe many
stations had used up their ten hour work period. I pulled the plug an uploaded
to LoTW.
I did not hear any of the other Hooters in the contest and think perhaps they
did not get on.
