Comments:
I think I damaged my 2e40 during ARRL DX CW. It is not tuned for CW segment and
I just ignored the VSWR and forged ahead making contacts. On phone I discover
now that it shows really high VSWR at anything over about 50W. I spent SEVERAL
hours maintaining that thing last year. I am not looking forward to messing
with it some more so soon! I loaded up the 80/160 inv-V as my 40m most of the
time.
Other than some nice runs on 20m Saturday I found it difficult to run. Despite
many comments of being loud. Not sure what that was all about.
I have to admit to not having quite the iron pants I hoped. I was LUCKY to be
able to operate as much as I did (and I thank my family for that) and I did not
get the rest I needed before hand. When 20m starts to tank in the afternoon I
find myself tanking too!
