Comments:
First of all I wanna thank Rimas, LY6A for letting me to use his fine station
again. It was my first attempt in RDXC using HP. I know LP and QRP taste in
RDXC pretty well, therefore I can assure every one that competing in HP
category is much more Fun! Unfortunately this coming weekend during CQ WPX
Contest I'll be limited LP again.
I'm almost satisfied with my Oblass count, but really missing some more 50
countries. Also I'm very unhappy with my 40 m QSO totals. It appears I
concentrated for 40m QSO's too late, band was relatively empty during the night
hours.
My 2nd radio QSO counts could be much higher (I found 200 2nd radio QSO's in my
log, 98 of them were multipliers at the moment of QSO)if I would used to use
Packet cluster. Only by the end of contest I felt the real taste of it. Most of
the time I spend simply tuning 2nd radio VFO and working 5 pointesrs, 10
pointers and multipliers old fashioned way.
Generally I'm happy I could beat my rivals like LY9Y, YL6W, OH8X, OH0Z.
But Tonno, ES5TV lives somewhere out of our Earth. I would not be able to reach
his numbers even if God would let my to repeat the Contest again trying avoid
all my mistakes. Congrats Tonno!
73 & CU in CQ WPX SSB.
