Well, I started off late due to pre-scheduled calendar event (First Q was at
16:26(Z)) and the run rate leaves allot left to be desired, but had fun
nontheless. All in all, not to unhappy for my first contest :-)
I elected to work exclusively RTTY, as I wanted work out the kinks for a number
of other up and comming events, there rather were a few I had to resovle on the
fly, I definately need to be better prepared.
I spent the bulk of my time on 40M, but I stayed out of the lower portions to
ease the noise around 7035. Had a look at 80/160 but there was not allot of
RTTY happening from what I could determine. I was disappointed that I did not
work a MT station.
After the contest had ended, I had a quick chat with Larry (K7MI), who said "I
need to get over there and get some contest lessons", think I will take him up
on that offer :-)
