This year I moved to a ranch between high mountains in the State of Rio Grande
do Sul. My antennas were a 1/2 wave dipole 45 ft high for tx and a 500 ft
Beverage, runned by a FT 950 and Ameritron 811. Although I got zero QRM, I
barely made US/VE contacts and think I was troubled by the valley topography.
Next year I will try an open, flat place for setting up my array. I hope you
guys have had a nice contest.
