What a day. I am still on the list for not missing any of the ladders.
Terrible conditions for me with few CQs answered and few jump-balls won.
a mid-afternoon telephone call from my XYL letting me know my 40m dipole is
down. Arriving home around 1930 EST, 5 potato/antenna launcher shots, 3 lost
tennis balls in a rain storm (flood warning in Southern New England) later.. I
have my wire back up but about 20' lower on one side.. sloper towards....SE,
great.
