Comments:
Well, taking time for the contest was challenging. My XYL has be "suggesting"
that I paint the barn for a couple of years. So guess which activity took
priority? I'm lucky I got 4 hours in. Summer is the only time I have to work
outside so anything related to that gets priority. From what I could hear, and
that isn't much, the bands, at least here in WA state, were funky at best. My
best luck was on 40M. I missed most of the daytime operating on 20M but got on
for a two hours late in the afternoon. My log shows no AS mults which is
surprising for us the the PNW. Did pick up NZ and HI though plus some scattered
NA mults. 40M was the most productive. Beat last year's total. We need sunspots.
