Equipment
Array of 2 verticals for 80m, 18m high, pointed to SW, array of 2 verticals
for 40m, 12m high -3 direction. Two Spiderbeams. Run station -K3, mult.
station TS-480, software Win-Test v.3.27. "If anything can go wrong it
will" Murphy's low exist, we tested it once again. Big number of things
happened before and during first hours of the contest . Rain and lighting
storm visited us on Friday and Saturday. We had issues related to antennas,
antenna switching hardwares, tranceivers, and experienced some networking
problems just at start of the contest. Lighting struck the power line about
15 km away and caused us blackout for 1,5h just at beginning of the
contest. Luckily we managed to switch over to generator many thanks to our
kind host. We enjoyed the contest very much despite of huge list bad things
happened.
