Comments:

Another First here in LocustLand: SO2R REMOTE QRP at the bottom of the Sunspot
Cycle. NEVER AGAIN ;-( Although, I ended up with 2 more mults tonight than
NSL 13 @ 100w. Go figure.

Talk about a LOT of unanswered CQ's !!! Ultra Kudos to the great ears of K8MM,
W9RE, W4OC, N4AF, K0TG, W0BH, K4RO, W7SW & N0SXX who pulled my S&P 5 watts out
of the static crashes on 40m, and to W7WHY on 80m.

I had planned to haul a generator up to Locust Peak and operate ~7 hours in the
NAQP tomorrow to conserve battery power (especially now being SO2R), and then
boogie down the hill to the Home QTH and finish up here. After today's
rattlesnake encounter and guilt over cutting down more trees (plus the Warm/Hot
WX), I decided to either just operate via remote in air-condx comfort here
tomorrow until the battery power runs out, OR, try SO2R REMOTE QRP. At 5 watts
I'm sure I'd have enough juice.

So tonight was an experiment - thought I should check out the Frustration
Factor trying QRP. Nope, this ain't for me, folks. I have a Post-It note on
the table to turn the power back up to 100 watts manana.

73 & Tnx for all the Q's & Mults & PATIENCE during repeat requests for my
exchanage tonight...

Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
