Comments:

Station:
80m: Rotary dipole at 145 feet
40m: 3 el at 145 feet
20m: 5/5/5 yagis
15m: 5/5/5 yagis
10m: 5/5/5 yagis

Other than having the 80m dipole with its tips toward Eu for the first hour of
operation on that band Friday evening (it DOES make a difference), we made no
major blunders and all the gear held up nicely for the duration of the contest.
Due to the relatively depressed conditions, we had no trouble off loading QTCs,
and, unlike other years, never felt anxious that we'd be caught near the end
with many QTCs and no takers.

It was nice to see 15m open nicely on Sunday after a disappointing Saturday,
and the Es to Eu on 10m Sunday allowed us to add 19 QSOs and 10 countries to
the log. 20m was the money band again this year for QSOs and QTCs.

Congratulations to the boys at NY4A. Very nice maiden voyage into the WAE
waters, fellows.

Thanks to DARC for sponsoring this contest, and thanks to the excellent Eu ops
who make this such a fun event.
