Comments:
FT1000MP, 100W, TH6DXX. Had the zepp ready on a switch, but never tried it.
Kept turning beam from west to northwest to northeast. Signals from the west,
northwest, and MN/SD were pretty good. Heard and called a strong K5NZ once,
but no TX QSOs. Signals from the north east were OK, but not extremely strong
(except for N4CW/1). Was able to work as close as PA/MD/DE and OH, but signals
from OH were weak. Heard W9RE and N9FC in IN, and N4DW in TN, and W4OC in SC,
but signals were very weak. Surprisingly, N4AF was OK from NC. Got a one
minute late start because was busy with another project and let time slip up on
me. This was fun, but I'd not like to do a single band effort every week.
