Hesston College has it's opening registration weekend during the OHQP most years
including this one, so had to find time in between activites. Conditions were
excellent whenever I was on with signals S9+ on both 20 and 40 to at least
parts of Ohio most of the day. Even 80 was relatively QRN-free. Really wish I
could have put in the full 12 hours! Even so, I worked 55 unique counties
including some I missed the last several years. Thanks to the mobiles, fixed
stations and sponsors for another job well done!
Look for me /m from 39 counties in the Kansas QSO Party next weekend (Aug
29-30). All 105 counties will be active and Kansas hasn't had a QP for a number
of years, so it should be a great ride with your help. My route and map is on
