My personal best score is still 943 on July 31, when 20 Meters was good to me
(30 Qs). Tonight, even the Major West Coast Players were weak here on 20 (best
sig W7WHY). I could use more East Coast activity on 80 Meters; I didn't even
work NJ. At least I bailed out of 20 early, and the same for 40 (where skip was
long). How's come if I think I'm getting the hang of this my score is still in
the dumpster?
I'm going to see if I can throw the Tree Wire higher and longer this weekend
for 80. The Kondo Kops haven't told me to take down the vertical yet, knock on
wood.
