Comments:
My first experience from the European side of WAEDC contest. Receiving QTC was
fun. But I could not ask QTCs so aggressively. Although 4U1ITU has a unique
multiplier, it was rather difficult to run due to bad condition. However I
enjoyed the fairly good run of the NAs on 40m toward the end of the contest
including ZL, HS, and FM despite the fact that 1.4kHz out of my 2.4kHz
bandwidth had been invaded by a High Power station for the last one hour.
I am sorry for the many Europeans who called during the contest that I did not
work them. Although I promised them to operate after the contest, I could not
find time as the meetings at ITU-R were quite busy.
My sincere thanks to OM1AM, Attila and F5VIH/SV3SJ, Nick for my operation of
WAEDC SSB at 4U1ITU possible. Giving a unique multiplier was the most fun!
