Hello all.
Was unable to go full blown again for SS CW due to an XYL out of town and
commitments with my 10 yr old. Managed to play around for just shy of 6 hours
on Sunday & turn in a respectable showing. Missed VT, NNY, PR, WTX, MAR, NL,
MB, and NT - just not around when I was (never heard).
80 was quiet here, 40 was open everywhere, and 20 was the usual madhouse. 15
was open to the west coast for what little time I had.
Spent the first hour getting the computer downloads/op system up to date. The
built in keyer was set at 38 WPM, but was cranking out about 24 due to the
dowloads. When the downloads finished, it would "let it rip" - so I used hand
keying for about the first hour mostly to avoid the abrupt changes.
I plan to run all 24 in SS Phone - CU! -Al
