Comments:
Packet-free, one TS-850SAT, and a 90-ft long dipole up about 35 feet.
We should all be making more QSOs these days, with the big boost in
activity from the NCCC-PVRC competition. I know that having the PVRC
guys calling in helped sustain my runs on 40 and 80.
Heard NT and MB S&P, but could not attract them. Never heard NL or SB. I had
predicted that SB might be rare this year; sorry I was right.
I missed my goal of 700 QSOs, but I thought I had done OK (more time
restrictions than usual this year). I was sort-of satisfied with my
performance, until I saw some of the other PVRC LP scores. Notably,
K1HTV beat me soundly, using the same single radio and slightly better
antennas. So I get another year to try to figure out what I am doing
wrong.
