Comments:
I was so hoping to have the quad up by SS, but it takes me so much longer to do
things in my wheelchair. Plus all the rain we have had keeps me from getting
out in the yard. I get stuck and have to holler for my wife and then she
gripes at me...hi. Actually she has been very supportive.
Anyway, the tower is up, am building the elevator now and will attack the quad
next.
The antennas were a 40/20 meter fan inverted vee @ 25 feet and an 80 meter
inverted vee at 35 feet. So results were not that great.
I was shooting for 500 q's but settled for 400/78 Missed VO and VE8. Heard em
both but couldn't bust the pileups.. At 67 I just can't stay in there as long as
I used to.
