Definite culture shock from feeling semi-loud in CW SS to feeling like a
pipsqueak in CW WW. I was a real powerhouse in the pileups for those 2-point VE
QSOs, though. Actually, many packet putout chasers are really bad at busting
pileups - skill and listening are still worth a few db.
I poached 3W1M from the 15m pileup of a Caribbean station who wasn't hearing
him, which was exciting - if it doesn't end up as a NIL. Most of the time I was
able to operate weren't prime time 15m hours but the time I spent there was fun.
80m conditions seemed poor.
