Comments:
Lots of fun for my part time effort. First time I've cracked the 100K level from
this small station. Interesting to watch the score counter jump by 1K everytime
you hit a new three point country that is also a new zone once your over 100K!
Two goals for this contest. 1) spend as much time on 40 as possible to snag the
last 15 DXCC for LOTW. (got them in log, now hope the stations I worked are on
LOTW!)2) Check out new "lazy sloping inverted L" on 160. Got the L up, no
radials for first night, installed 5, 50' radials Saturday afternoon, in
between installing outside Christmas decorations. What a difference those 5
radials made! I'm pumped and ready for 160 contest next weekend!
Wasn't planning on spending this much time in the contest, but it was fun
playing on 15m working DX for a change! Sure hope 160 is in better shape next
weekend than it was this weekend:)
Rig: Icom 756 ProIII 100 watts, Antennas - MA5B mini beam at 37' for 15/20m,
1/4 sloper for 40 NE with apex at 35', 1/4 sloper for 80m apex at 35', Lazy
sloping inverted L for 160 vertical height 35'
