Comments:
What a blast to operate the greatest CW DX contest in the world!
I missed most prime EU running time on Saturday due to work, but
managed 30 hours of operating in spite of a very busy weekend.
Excellent openings to Asia kept things interesting. Only the CQWW
brings out in a single weekend goodies like 5N 5W BV YB 9M6 VR T8
5R8 9J2 ZD8 6W 9L D4 C9 FO 9G A3 TX BY DS TK TF V5 etc. There was
no shortage of excellent DX to be worked. The only mult heard but
not worked was 9K2. Thanks to all of the natives and travelers who
get on the air for the CQWW, the best DX contest of them all.
Unfortunately it still needs repeating -- not everyone chooses to
have someone else identify stations for them. Those who choose to
identify stations themselves need to know your call sign. Signing
"dit dit" for 30 minutes straight might be fun for you, but it causes
considerable frustration among those who insist on actually copying
your call sign before making a QSO attempt. Please give your call sign
at regular intervals so that others may identify you.
