Comments:
Returned home on Friday night from having had minor surgery in London. Stitches
still in and no hope to crank up the tower (down for the hurricane-force winds
of the previous week), and difficult to sit in the chair for long periods, but
couldn't stay away from the greatest contest of the year!
The objectives were to have fun and to work new band-slots; both achieved,
along with a generous dose of sleep not usually found in CQ WW!
Thanks to all those who went to nice DX QTHs so the new band-slots could be
worked, and to all those who worked to get my signal out of the noise with the
low antennas!
