Station - very modest TH5 @ 60ft, non resonant Inv vee with open wire feeder.
Ten Tec Omni VI+
Very nice Africa opening on Sunday. My open wire feeder wire antenna for
160/80 meters apparently does not radiate much at all. There were many loud
Europeans on 80m that had no clue I was calling them. With a decent 80m antenna
could have added at least 100 Q's. Otherwise, lots of fun. Certainly a lot
harder from the Midwest than my previous contests from the East Coast.
