Great long path openings all weekend. Saturday runs to EU were solid. High
winds on the coast of Maine led to a power failure for 5 hours on Saturday
afternoon - that hurt. Stayed on the air with 100W thanks to the standby
generator (a necessity in Maine) but not enough juice to keep the PA online.
Lots of missed mults, some of which should have been easy. No sign of Zones 23
or 34 from where I was, but multiple shots at Zone 26 with XU7ACY and XV1X, just
couldn't crack the pileups.
Radio was a K3 plus ACOM 2000A. Antennas: 5/5 at 15m & 30m, plus Skyhawk at
20m. Software: N1MM.
