Comments:
Single-op + Telnet = M/S in this one...
1 radio, max 200 watts, Sloper, N1MM...11.5 hours in the evenings and early
mornings...
Gave up at daylight Sunday...Wet snow has the antenna coated, SWR is high...
QSO breakdown :
USA - 392
VE - 46
DX - 43
OH and ON were the most popular sections worked at 26 each, followed by VA(23),
WNY(22) and EPA(20)..
8 MAR stations in the log, so we were well represented...Nissed NE, NNY, PR,
WTX, LAX, ORG, SB, SDG, SJV, AK, ID, UT, MB and NT...
I like my new sloper...For a cheap, simple, compact antenna, it works
surprisingly well...It's grounded through my tower, no radials...I worked
almost everyone I could hear...I'm sure there were lots I didn't hear...
73, Scott VE1OP
