Comments:
After last year's QRP effort, this time I wanted to see what I could achieve in
SOHP if I put forth a full effort. Of course a score means nothing until it's
compared with others from the region, so will be waiting to see some other
results.
Confirmed what I already knew: my rig is crap (receiver IMD, AGC). As a result,
west and southwest Beverages were utterly useless, making me deaf as a stump! It
was actually better to listen on a wrong direction Beverage most of the time.
Confirmed some other stuff I knew too... such as the operator is getting older
and is not in peak form (needs more contesting practice).
I would have to say the highlight was being called by A7/M0FGA for a new DXCC
(hope it wasn't someone pulling my leg).
