Quiet band conditions this year .. wish I could have put in more time. On
Friday night/Saturday early morning, I know a number of European stations were
calling me, but my NE receive antenna decided to quit and I just couldn't pull
them out. A few got through anyway, and so did a NL station .. a nice
surprise! I fixed the receive antenna on Saturday in mid afternoon. While
testing the antenna, I tuned around and was pleased to work a loud KO7X. The
band never seemed to close this year. An unexpected turn of events kept me away
from the radio for most of Saturday evening. Good rates when I was on. We'll
be on 10m next weekend. Thanks for the Qs!
