Comments:
Band seemed to be in pretty good shape. First time in a contest environment with
the new K3, it really is a super radio. Lots to learn yet to take full advantage
of all it can do but did use the diversity receive in the contest and it is
incredible. Missed NT and AK, heard and called a couple AK but no patience for
the pile ups. Operated all Friday night OK but ran out of steam Saturday night.
A thrill to have so many DX stations answering my CQ's. Thanks to all for the
Q's.
Always nice to run into old and new friends on the air in these contests.
Congrats to Julius on his super score!! Hey Julius and Rick, maybe we can all
get together at Dayton this year!
