Comments:
My first 160 meter contest. I could only operate Friday evening, and with my CW
limited to about 10 WPM running a frequency was out of thte question. But with
he help of lots of technology I was able to at least test my station on 160,
and I was pretty happy adding the Galapagos Islands to the log.
I couldn't figure out how to get N1MM to recognize rrequencies above 1.840 as
CW so I had to manually key every contact above that. I'm sure some big guns
were a bit surprised to here my ultra slow CW in a major contest.
Antenna was a low 80 meter loop forced into use on 160. I could only run 200
watts because the tuner can't handle more... but had to declare myself asa high
power.
