Did the overnight from K0TV on Friday night. Roughly 6 hours at 25/hour
after Jerry worked out the band. Decided to try to make a few Q's from
the home station Saturday night. We had a heavy wet snow storm going on
and the SWR was about 5:1 across the entire band. So as to not wear out
the antenna tuner, I picked a spot up high and called CQ for a couple
of hours hoping to get spotted.
I don't think I ever was (spotted), but it was good for 50 Qs. Did
one sweep up the band and got about 35 more before pulling the plug. 5
more 5 minutes before the close.
