Comments:
Not sure if this was the 10 Meter Contest, a VHF contest, or the Texas QSO
Party. There was everything from VHF style weak signal tropo to meteor
scatter. I think I probably worked more Texas counties than I did in the Texas
QSO Party.
You had to be quick to catch the opportunities. In many instances you had only
one shot to make the contact and exchange. Signals were up and down and quite
often completely gone.
