Missed first 44 hours. Spent Sunday afternoon using K3 with recently assembled
WinKey-USB CW interface. It was just as difficult to work a station 50 miles
away as it was to work LU5WW. While in S&P, many signals began strong but soon
became weak and fluttery before contact was completed. Exceptions were ZM4G,
OM4G, ZL2AZ, and ZL2BR (Strong & remained strong). A winter storm with rain and
snow may have contributed to the high QRN. A buzz was uniform across 10-m and I
wondered if aurora also contributed to the noise. Thanks for the Qâ??s.
73, Tom â?? K7FA
