What a bust. I was happy to reach 10 Qs. Working NY was a big deal. I did
work MN late Saturday. Late Sunday I was monitoring and heard a station give
his QTH as NM. Briefly thought it had to be a mistake but I had actually caught
a brief opening.
I didn't spend a lot of time listening to static this weekend but when I did
have a few minutes I'd check the band and it was invariably dead. But just to
make sure I didn't rack up a big score, I ran QRP.
There's always next year. But then there was last year which was many times
better. Alas sunspots...where are they when needed.
