Only had a few hours to play. Most of it was Sunday afternoon. Used up a lot of
my contest operating credits in the 160 CW and CQWWDX! From what I've heard,
Saturday night and Sunday morning were hot! Interesting band conditions Late
Sunday afternoon. Working the usual pipeline to TX and then I'm working NC, VE5
and MA with the two element MA5B SW at TX! What a band. Did snag one DX, HC8GR.
Took quite a few calls with only 5 watts, but got him on a prop peak. Worked
two VE and the rest staeside. Now that I have helped with the inside Christmas
decorations I have earned more operating credits for the Stew Perry Top Band in
two weeks.
Station conditions: Icom 756 ProIII set to 5 watts, MA5B mini beam at 37'.
