Orion 2 to A3S Tribander up 40 feet. N3FJP software. Winkey.
Friday night: no signals, nothing. I checked the date. I checked the antenna.
All correct.
Saturday: Nothing, then worked Martin, N4UU, about 50 miles to the north, then
N4EK 15 miles to the south, WJ9B 75 miles northwest. I swept up and down the
band. Nothing. S9 K2V/KP2 in Virgin Island comes booming in. QSL. Then
nothing.
Sunday: More nothing. Then W0BH in KS and KT0K in NE. Fade to nothing. In a
row, Galapagos Is, Brazil, Cuba, Argentina and Uruguay worked. Noise returns.
Time to QRT.
