Comments:

Tough to get 'up' for this "International Sweepstakes". 12 minutes after start a
series of T storms shut everything down for over 5 hours.....Saturday not much
til afternoon as EU and US are beaming to each other. Got nice 10m opening
late....next door neighbor's wedding which started at 10pm Sat overrode any
activity until late on Sunday. Uruguayian weddings are 'dont miss' events
here. Finally got 'into it' Sunday on 10m then 15m then 20m...that was a lot of
fun running US/VE pileups. Great to see lots of signals on 10m band scope of
Orion II. I apologize for disappearing 40 min prior to end of contest while
running nice pileup on 20m...daughter called from the states and overrode
contest. Mi amigos did represent CX very well. CX6VM @ CW5W on 15m HP, CX9AU on
15m LP and CX5TR on 20m did nice job. CU all in SSB test!
Rig Orion II, homebrew 8877, Steppir 3 ele @ 17m and Force 12 40m vertical
dipole.
