Comments:
No condx from Ga to SC on 40 or 20 meters, even the fixed stations were hard to
work with 100 watts. Did catch a few of the mobiles on a few occasions, thanks
to N0TW, K4ZGB, W4NZ, NM2L, and K4BAI...wish I could have worked more mobiles
but just too close...had 3 other contests this weekend to keep me busy
anyways!! Thank you guys for the contacts and hope all went well on the
highways, thanks to the fixed stations also. I would have made more SSB
contacts if my mic worked, I had an old D104 mic I was using with the IC761 and
a few seconds after I keyed it, my audio died. Well I forgot that the battery in
the mic was st least 20 years old..I changed it and it seems to work fine..See
you guys at NQ4I for CQWW WPX CW..My OM, K4MM, and a good friend, K1PT, will be
joining us for the fun!! 73's Drubber
