Comments:
My first sweep ever in a major QSO Party! K4O gave me my No. 67 for Gadsden
County with hours to spare. Signals were weak on all bands, so high power
stations with directional antennas had a major advantage, but FL mobile
operators had very good ears when it came to fishing out callers. Sad that so
few took andvantage of the long openings on 15 and 10 meters. The QRN we had
here in TX on Saturday night moved right along the Gulf Coast and bothered FL
stations on Sunday.
Special thanks to the ubiquitous mobiles: N4O (24), N4EEB (23), K4OJ (21), N4PJ
(20), W1NN (17), W4AN (17), K4KG (14), K4O (14), NF4A (11), K5YAA (11), N4AO
(10), W4MY (9) and AD4ES (8), among others.
This was fun and a major success, especially as little else was going on this
weekend. See you next year.
Chris, K5LH
